Residential low slope roofing such as condos, row houses and townhomes are a few examples of low-slope roofs. You also see low-slope roofs in porches and garages. There are five basic types of Low-slope roofs.

There are three principal components to remember when dealing with low-slope membranes
Weather proofing layer- this very important part of the roofing system
Reinforcement- this adds strength to the membrane
Surfacing- this protects the weather proofing and reinforcement from the weather
